³⁶ For these things came to pass ^(A)in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled, “^(B)Not a bone of Him shall be ^[a]broken.” ³⁷ And again another Scripture says, “^(C)They shall look on Him whom they pierced.”

Jesus Is Buried

^38 (D)Now after these things Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but ^(E)secretly because of his ^(F)fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate granted permission. So he came and took away His body.
